Google has officially launched its first open marketplace for web application, which called ‘Chrome Web Store’ on 9 December 2010. This is a good news for web application developers, because, the Chrome Web Store is allowing web developers to sell their web application through the store via Google’s secure payment system.
Currently, the web store is offering 2 types of applications to its Google Chrome users, which is free apps and paid apps. Almost all of the web applications are created by using Flash, HTML5, JavaScript, C++ and etc. Besides, the web apps are believe to only available for its Chrome browser and upcoming Chrome OS at this moment.
